DotA 6.75 Beta 5 Leaked! Roshan Place Changed and More!

DotA 6.75 Beta is leaked! It's been a while since we got a DotA Beta map leaked, but here you go, a DotA 6.75 Beta Map! It's up to you to judge whether the map is legit or not. But looking on how the leaked changelogs and the map is supporting each other, i think it's not a fake. One thing to notice that in this map the Roshan's location got moved as in the picture below. This change is made because the Scourge get slight advantage from the original Roshan position.



As a result from the new Roshan place, the Ancient also moved to this place, near the secret shop.


Other changes are the modified Phoenix's skill. Icarus Dive replaced with Overheat.

DotA 6.75 Release Date Hinted! After the International 2..


I know most of you are craving for any news about DotA 6.75. It's very natural since the information about DotA 6.75 is very scarce. And as you can see on the image above, IceFrog is hinted the released date of DotA 6.75 will be after the International 2 (the biggest Dota 2 Tournament with 1 Million USD Prize).

If you are too lazy to clink the link above, the International 2 itself will be held on August  31 until September 2. Sigh.. That's still 1.5 months away. IceFrog also hinted that they are now working with some remakes on the Phoenix and Pitlord as this post cover it before.

Well.. Let's hope this map will worth the wait, because it sure takes its time.. ^^;;

Dota 2 is Free to Play! The Dota 2 Store Now Open!

Well, usually we posted the Dota 2 news on the Dota 2 Blog, but since this information is quite important, we decided to share it here too. Today, Valve has confirmed that the Dota 2 will be Free to Play. And when they say free, it means you won't need to pay any single cents to play all the heroes. For your information, HoN (Heroes of Newerth) and LoL (League of Legends) only allow several heroes played for free while the rest will need your credit card (HoN) or game point (LoL).




And i'm sure some of you will be thinking, where the hell Valve will get their money then?! The answer is also revealed today. The Dota 2 Store! In that store you can buy cosmetics for your heroes, unique courier and some gifts. Valve however, ensure that those cosmetics won't affect the game play in any way.


Moreover, if you're an artist, you can also submit your own cosmetics in the Dota 2 Workshop. If your items got lots of vote and Valve decided to include your masterpiece into the game, you can even gain some real cash!


Curious? These 2 pictures (above and below) is the example on how you can customize Juggernaut's cosmetics. Currently, there are only several cosmetics available. But i'm sure it will grow on the following days. Check out our post if you wanna see more of them.

DotA 6.74c AI Fun v2.7 Map Download | More than 27 Fun Heroes!


DotA 6.74c AI Fun v2.7 has just released today! After several DotA versions, SuperWaitSum finally updates the Fun Map. On this new version we got some bug fixes and several changes which you can see on the changelogs below:

Changelogs:
- Fixed some bugs, including Escutcheon recipe, bugs in Ramza abilities and Puff show less errors.
- Ramza gains no job points near the Fountain.
- Added up to 1'000'000 lives on DeathMatch mode (-DM).
- Added Old Dirge.
- Added new tavern with 5 new heroes.
- Formless can copy abilities of new heroes.
- Added Angelic Alliance

If this is your first time playing the fun map, here are the tavern list:
1. Remade Tavern. The old version of remade heroes.
2. Extinct Tavern. The heroes that no longer exist on the current DotA.

An un-official DotA 6.76c AI map is out there. There's still some bugs, but it is playable. Get it in here!

Update 1 (Oct 1 2012):
Yay! PBMN already confirmed that he will port the AI map into DotA 6.75. But before he do that, he'll need to find a new living place in Berlin, Germany. So if you got any information, shoot him an email on pbmn.dota[at]gmail.com.
